Yorkshire Building Control Gets Festive for Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day

ree

Yorkshire Building Control is once again showing its commitment to making a difference by participating in Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday, 11 December.

The team will be swapping their usual work attire for festive knits to raise vital funds for children in the UK and around the world. The initiative supports Save the Children's work to keep children safe, healthy, and learning whilst helping them fight for the future they deserve.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real impact.

Just £2 could buy a packet of seeds for a family in Kenya to grow their own food after drought has destroyed their crops, while £8 could provide a blanket to keep a child in

Ukraine warm through the harsh winter months.

Larger donations can achieve even more: £15 provides two weeks of therapeutic peanut paste to help a malnourished child, £20 buys supermarket vouchers for two children in the UK, and £40 supplies a Baby Kit for a family in Gaza with essential infant care items.

"We're proud to support this fantastic cause again," Dale Rhodes of Yorkshire Building Control. "Christmas is about giving, and we're encouraging everyone to join us in spreading some festive cheer whilst making a difference to children's lives globally."

To support Yorkshire Building Control's fundraising efforts, visit the YBC JustGiving page here or text KNITTED to 70050 to donate £2 directly to Save the Children.
