What information will I need to provide to YBC?Commonly required documents include architectural plans, structural calculations, and any planning approvals. We’ll inform you of any specific documents needed based on your project.
-
How many inspections will be undertaken and at what stages of the project? The number of inspections depends on the size and type of your project. Typically, inspections are required at key stages, including: Foundations: To check the depth and structure before concrete is poured. Damp-Proof Course (DPC): To inspect the damp-proofing layer once the foundation work is complete. Drainage: To ensure proper installation and compliance with regulations. Structural Framework: For inspections of load-bearing walls, beams, and other structural components. Insulation and Fire Safety: Inspection of insulation and fire safety measures before walls are closed. Final Completion: A thorough final inspection to confirm all regulations are met and issue a completion certificate. We’ll provide a detailed inspection schedule tailored to your project at the start, and our team will guide you through each step to ensure compliance.
